about

THE ADC MISSION
ADC aims to span across both location and foundational dance ability to give amateur dancers, choreographers, directors, and producers a space to explore and grow their skill sets in a supportive, community-oriented environment.
OUR VISION
VALues
VIsIOn
ADC is an incubator for dancers at every stage of their journey. We want to be a dance home for novice dancers to train, perform, and grow. We also offer opportunities for emerging dance teachers to build their resumes, while giving experienced choreographers a space to produce shows and expand their artistry. This studio model empowers dancers to develop their skills and give back to the community as they grow.
OUR VALUES
VIsIOn
VALues
ADC strives to foster confidence, community, and connection. Our classes, practices, and events are safe spaces that embrace dancers from all backgrounds and levels. Whether through virtual intensives, in-person classes, or hybrid practices, we make dance accessible to everyone regardless of physical location or what stage they’re at in their journey. We also support our local communities through our scholarship program and partnerships with other dance organizations.
OUR HISTORY
HISTORY
HISTORY
In 2016, Afsaneh Faki started a beginners-focused dance team, the Assorted Aces, on her college campus after noticing a gap in the dance community—many people wanted to dance but were turned away at auditions. Aces was Cornell University's first team to train beginners and offer guaranteed performance opportunities. After graduation, she founded ADC in 2024 to expand that community beyond Aces graduates so any young adult could find a dance home.
